About Us

At Hollywood Subiaco Bowling Club we are passionate about our lawn bowls, whether it is during competition season or at our social lawn bowls nights.

We are so much more than a bowling club, with a large social membership group who enjoy our excellent club prices at the bar or who come down to socialise in our comfortable lounge settings.

  • The club has pool tables, dart boards and regular competitions to go with them.

  • An outdoor patio setting where you can sit out and relax, watch the bowling or have a drink.

  • A fresh vegetable garden in which our members grow produce and sell regularly.

  • Community events where local members can come along and have a bowl or just enjoy the atmosphere.

  • A functions room which has sophisticated lighting and sound system ideal for a range of events.

  • An Overhead projector equipped for conference needs.

  • A fully-stocked bar perfect to sit back and sip on a great drink.

The Community

Hollywood Subiaco Bowling Club is conscious of its responsibility to the Subiaco/Nedlands community.

The following is a list of groups who regularly use our club as a base:

Nedlands Council, Nedlands RSL, Kings Park Probus, Japan Club of WA, Hollywood Primary School Band, Hollywood Primary School P&C, Nedlands Ratepayers Association, Japan Club Manmagement Committee, Shenton Park Dogs Home, Sir Charlie Gairdner Social Club, Hollywood Private Social Club 

In addition to lawn bowling, we offer spaces and catering for:

The People’s Patch

A prominent feature of the Hollywood-Subiaco Bowling Club is our Community Garden.

When joining the Club, if you class yourself as a bit of a green thumb, you can apply for one of our garden plots. But while maintaining you garden plot be sure to stop by at the bar for a sneaky beverage and to hear the banter on who is growing what, and who is failing their crop. Average plot size is around 4mx4m.

Our green-thumbed members produce a variety of seasonal produce from their allotments.
